Hotel „Maksymilian” is situated at the most attractive for touristic reasons street. Nearby there is a wide range of shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, open during a day and
a night. Also, the greatest monuments of Cracow, like St Mary’s Basilica, Royal Castle, Sukiennice Cloth Hall or Barbakan are within a very short distance.
The tenement, where hotel „Maksymilian” is located, is in the list of monuments. It was built in 1871 as the one of the first tenements at Karmelicka Street.
Rooms:
We offer you single and double rooms, furnished in a pleasant and modern way. Double rooms has either two single beds or one double bed. One extra bed in a double room is possible. You can also buy the night for two people in the single room with a large bed in a special lower price.
Each room possesses its own bathroom, TV set and free wireless Internet access. All windows overlook the calm backyard near the back building.
Additional information:
The building was designed by Maksymilian Nitsch,one of the most important architect living in 70s and 80s of XIX c. At first the tenement was the architect’s family house. His flat was probably situated at the first floor of front building. Since 2008 the tenement hasn’t been renovated or rebuilt. From 2008 to 2010 the building was completely transformed. The back part and the ground floor building in the backyard were built. Also, the stylish front-view was renovated. The purpose was to keep shape, character and atmosphere of XIX century tenement.

How to get?
Hotel „Maksymilian” is located close to the tram stop „Batorego”. You can get to the railway or bus station by trams 4 i 14 from there. In 300 metres distance there is a bus stop „Plac Inwalidów”. It is possible to get to the airport by buses 208, 292 i 902 from there.
