This year, between 24 and 27 April, the organisers will present 12 shows, including 6 from abroad. Traditionally, they revolve around one selected theme. This time, the leading themes of the festival are: relations/ NARRATIONS/boundaries.
The Swiss-German “Rashmon. Truth lies next door” show will be a highlight of the event. Alvis Hermanis will return to Krakow (two years ago he presented a show entitled "Ice", which was recognised by critics as one of the most important artistic events of 2006). This time, he will show "Sonia" from the New Theatre in Riga.
The programme will include: “Nordost” from the Polish Theatre in Bydgoszcz, Poznan's Strefa Ciszy Theatre, Komuna Otwock with “Mill/Maslow”, as well as the Polish Theatre from Bydgoszcz. The festival would not be complete without a show by Marek Fiedor: "Wyszedl z domu" ("He's left the house"), considered by critics as one of the most important shows of the last season.
