The church of St. Adalbert's (sometimes known as the Apostle of the Slavs) is situated at the south corner of the Main Square. The original wooden church was erected here at the beginning of the 11 century, because as the legend has it, St. Adalbert preached in that very place. The present-day Romanesque stone church was erected at the beginning of the 12th century. Worth noticing is the crucifux, the picture of St. Adalbert and figures of angels. Under the church is the archeological reserve documenting the stages of the church building.
