Description:

The synagogue was built in 1620 by a merchant Wolf Popper (“the stork”) and underwent restoration work in the 19th and 20th centuries. The synagogue was damaged during World War II and reconstructed in 1964. The style of the building is not of any special artistic significance, but hosts the gallery of the Old Town Youth Cultural Centre.
