Plac Centralny (the Central Square) is located in the heart of Nowa Huta. There are four streets radiating symmetrically from the square. The square was built at the beginning of the 1950's. It features Renaissance and Baroque architectural elements. In 2004 the square was renowated to regain its oryginal appearance.
