Manggha Centre of Japanese Art and Technology has a prime location - at the bank of the Vistula river, opposite the Wawel Hill. It was designed by a celebrated Japanese architect, Arata Isozaki in the 1990s'. One of its founders was a famous Polish director Andrzej Wajda. It houses the museum of Japanese art featuring valuable collection of Feliks Jasienski as well as many temporary exhibitions of Japanese art, culture and technology. It is also a venue for lectures, Japanese language and artistic courses, arts and crafts classes for children.
