Rakowicki Cemetery was founded at the beginning of the 19th century. This old necropolis has a great historic and patriotic value. There are graves of the memberes of national uprisings, I and II World War. Also numerous distinguished Poles are buried here. The cemetery has an artistc value - many of its beautiful monuments and statues were created by famous artists.
