The Mound was raised in the 7th century and traditionally it is said to be the burial place of the legendary founder of Krakow – Krak or Krakus. On the first Tuesday after Easter, knightly tournaments and other outdoor events take place at the Mound. Its top offers a vast panorama of the city. You can get to the Mound with the buses: 107, 139, 163, 174, 184, 198 and trams: 3, 6, 9, 13, 24, 49.
