Although controlled by local authorities, the Podgorze Public Library is incorporated into a national network of public libraries. It is located in Cracow, at 2 Powro¼nicza Street, and covers Districts 8 to 13. Since 1975, the Podgorze Public Library has successfully developed and satisfied the reading needs of Cracow residents by promoting education and culture.
