UEFA delegates prepared the next report evaluating the preparation of the Polish cities for Euro 2012. Krakow gained the best scores.

Marc Timmer, UEFA’s Head of Stadium Security, said that he cannot imagine that Krakow would not be one of the Euro 2012 host cities.

Krakow Wisla Stadium will be completed by 2010. The only disadvantage of Krakow as a host city for the football championship is the Balice Airport, which has not sufficient traffic capacity.



Till 3 September the Polish potential host cities are to submit additional documents concerning their preparations for Euro 2012. Then a new report for UEFA Committee will be drafted. UEFA Committee meeting will take place on 25 September. It is when a decision concerning the final list of the Polish host cities may be taken.
