It is one of the finest private museums in Europe hosting a wide collection of artefacts and memorabilia connected with Polish history and culture. The museum also houses an excellent collection of European paintings, its highlight is the portrait Lady with an Ermine by Leonardo da Vinci. It also contains the collection of ancient Egyptian and Roman art, medieval crafts and armoury.
