The castle Rudno was built by Casimir the Great in the 14th century. It was destroyed in 1655 by the Swedish and fell into riune. It was once called Tenczyn and is situated on top of an inactive volcano about 403 meters above sea level. The castle ruins is a nice picnic destination and the route follows nice cyclepaths in the Krzeszowice Forests.
