After the tourist boom in the Old Town and Kazimierz, Podgorze on the south bank of the Wisla river enjoys a growing popularity among visitors.

The district has its own unique atmosphere - quiet, laidback and sentimental. Its streets, squares, parks and cafes are still fresh and lack commercial glitz. Podgorze offers both physical and mental space, which is difficult to find in more commercialized parts of Krakow.
