Cracovia is the oldest active football club in Poland, based in Kraków. The Cracovia stadium (Pope John Paul II Stadium) holds 10,000 people and was built in 1906. Most important date for its future was 24 January 2003, when sponsor of football and hockey teams - Comarch SA head director Janusz Filipiak signed with President of City Kraków Jacek Majchrowski intentional letter.
