The Groteska Puppet, Mask and Actor Theatre has existed since 1945. Since its very beginning it has been a stage for fairy-tales and stories for children, as well as poetry, the grotesque and mythical in performances addressed to adult and more mature young audiences. In this thematic stream it has always pursued new theatrical forms and formulas, especially focused on the visual expression of its stage design and masks. The universal theatrical language of Groteska's performances crosses borders and barriers; the clear form and message of the works staged can be understood by audiences in different countries. |
