Exploring the Cistercian Route

The Cistercian Order in Mogila, Krakow, created a website to encourage tourists to explore their rich heritage in Poland and Europe.

Their homepage presents many useful and detailed information concerning the Cistercian Route, their sites and monasteries. You can also find interesting information about the life in the Order as well as photographs of Cistercian abbeys. The page gives an insight to long and rich history of the Order in Europe.

In Malopolska Region, in the south of Poland, there are the Cystercian monasteries in Mogila, Koprzywnica, Sulejow, Wachock and Szczyrzyc.

Visiting the Cistercian Route is not only sightseeing, but also a spiritual journey back in time, full of reflection and a break from everyday life.
