The building at 26 Slawkowska Street which houses Cyrano de Bergerac in its celler and the Piano-Bar Le Fumoir on the ground floor has a nearly five-hundred year old tradition. The tenement-house was built within the Northern part of city's fortifications raised in 13th-14th century to repel Tartar invasions. Cyrano de Bergerac restaurant proposes best French dishes in one of the most charming cracow cellar. The prices are not too low, but the relation of quality to the price is much more interesting than in other high-standard locals.

Fantastic food, first class athmosphere, excellent choices of wine (and coke cola ) for me, the starters are to die for, Highly recommended, top class food but not at top class prices, 4 starters, 4 main meals and 4 deserts, wine €90 3 coke cola and water all round plus 3 beers and 4 gin and tonics, €300 including 12 1/2% tip,
