The festival concerts take place over a period of 17 days, each day in a different historical interior: at churches and museums, in the courtyards of the Salt Mine in Wieliczka, at the Royal Castle at Wawel, and at the Philharmonic Hall – dependent on the character of the music being performed. The program of the individual evenings and their performers is selected so as to display the diversity of Kraków’s cultural traditions. Concerts of early music are always accompanied by performances of more recent works – including contemporary – and stars of Europe’s and the world’s stages perform alongside Polish artists.
