The idea of that place comes from one of the Bruno Schulz's novels - The Street of Crocodiles. It is located in the passage between Szeroka Street and Ciemna Street.Cheap pop and a drinking atmosphere do not match the sentiment interior, but reflect the spirit of Schulz's street - the tainted, the cheap, and the tacky.

This is a great little bar (not restaurant or hotel) on the old square (Szeroka) of Kazimierz, offering various styles of coffee, sweets/puddings as well as a few snacks (pizza's and toasties). If you are walking around Kazimierz and fancy a no fuss drink, call in here.
In the day it is a quiet place for anyone to stop. Evenings can vary form the faitly sedate to a fun atmosphere with locals and tourists from many nations frequenting the establishment.
No thrills, good welcome (even a little shy from the young bar staff) and good value. Not one for stagg parties though - Kasimierz is not the place for them really.
Enjoy and respect the atmoshere of this great part of the city of Krakow. Try one of the many restaurants around the square before popping in for a hot beer, cold beer, coffee or cherry vodka. P.S. I don't own the place - honest. Me and my girlfriend witnessed many different people come into this bar - but remember, it is only a bar.
