The time has come for the next part of the 4 Seasons of the Book Festival. The majority of the Prose Season events (6-10 October 2009) will be gathered in one place – Café Szafé at ulica Felicjanek 10. This year Prose Season is concentrating on Spanish language prose: guests include Susana Fortes, the Cuban Leonardo Padura, famous for his detective novels set in a Havana destroyed by revolution, as well as the Argentine Pablo De Santis. This is not just about popularising the oeuvre of individual writers; supplementary questions about the condition of modern prose in the Spanish language area are also anticipated.
