The Conrad Festival will precede the annual Kraków Book Fair. Its artistic director is Prof. Michał Paweł Markowski of the Jagiellonian University. Alongside the Kraków Festival Office, on behalf of the Tygodnik Powszechny Foundation, the organization of the new Kraków literature and book holiday, has been undertaken by Piotr Mucharski, who is fulfilling the function of organizational director of the festival.
