Low-cost airline Jet2.com is to begin flights from Leeds Bradford and Newcastle airports to Krakow in Poland this winter.  Jet2.com already flies from Leeds Bradford to Dusseldorf and Prague, but the Krakow links will be the first routes from the carrier to Poland, Travelmole reports.

Tickets will be priced from £19.99 one-way, including taxes, but the airline is offering special fares of £14.99 for the first flight from each airport.  Flights from Newcastle will begin on October 30, with Leeds Bradford departures starting the following day.  Jet2.com is also due to increase its Italian route schedule from Edinburgh next spring.  A new link to the fashion capital of Milan will begin in April, with tickets priced from £24.99 including extras.

Two weeks after Jet2.com announced new services from Leeds and Newcastle to Krakow, Jet2.com have been amazed at the popularity of this wonderful Polish city and the first two flights virtually sold out within 24 hours of going on sale.

What's amazed Jet2.com even more though is that 70% of the passengers who have booked so far are female, obviously going out to hunt for a Polish bargain, before sinking a few cheap beers or maybe some Polish Chardonnay? So come on lads keep up with the ladies and head on out to Krakow, you know it makes sense!
