The summertime opera meetings are well-placed in the landscape of cultural events in Kraków, and they are received with growing interest of the opera lovers from the city, the country and abroad. Let us mention that the first Summer Opera Festival in Kraków took place in 1997. Its eleven editions presented 145 performances viewed by more than 60,000 people.
