The Music in Old Cracow Festival is an annual international festival organised since 1976, in which eminent musicians, soloists, chamber groups and orchestras from all over the world take part. During the seventeen-day festival concerts are held in many historic buildings such as churches, synagogues, museums, the Wawel and the Philharmonic Hall, depending on the character of the music being performed.

Organized under the patronage of the President of Cracow, the Festival is sponsored by the Municipal Council of Cracow with the co-operation of Marshal’s Council of the Małopolska Province, the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage and other sponsors.
