Thanks to a satellite transmission, fans of the Italian opera will have an extraordinary opportunity to watch a live performance of "the Barber of Seville". They just need to visit Kijów.Centrum (al. Krasińskiego 34), which will host a direct transmission from Venice. Special digital cinema equipment installed in the venue will guarantee the best possible image (standard High Definition), and sound (four channel Dolby Digital Surround Ex) parameters.
"The Barber of Seville" is one of the most frequently staged operas in the world. It recounts the story of a love scheme, plotted by a cunning barber. In spite of the audience's cold response to the play during the opening night in 1810 in the Roman Argentina Theatre, the second performance left people spellbound, eventually transporting Gioacchino Rossini to the height of his fame.
